| Stall Construction 4

Thick welded-wire panels were installed to separate the top half of
each stall, keeping horses safe while allowing air-flow and social interaction.

Here, Patrick from Country Estate Crafters hangs the custom doors, also
made from our recycled lumber.

One of the finished custom doors.

A row of top-boards was nailed onto the back wall, to prevent material
from accumulating in the walls.

They also provided new supports to some of the rafters, for extra security.

The stalls were thoroughly swept with a magnetic sweeper, to make sure
nothing on the stall floor could injure sensitive hooves. This was a
redundant layer of protection, however, since rubber stall matts will
be laid down before the stalls are occupied.
