Between demolition of the old barn and construction of the new stalls,
Emily and Tony removed nails from the recycled lumber to make it ready
for use. Only 8 boards were purchased for the entire project!
T there were a lot of nails!
Tony removed part of the hay-loft from the barn to create enough head
room for the new stalls.
This is what we started out with - YIKES! But the structure itself was
good, and ready for the new stalls.
And we had a good plan to get started.
The first step was to frame out the back wall, using nailers to place
boards over the concrete foundation.
